Little mixup with a discount code, but OK now.

Had a hard time applying a discount code, but ZeroWater fixed it in the end with a free testing probe.

IF WATER DOESN'T FLOW THROUGH FILTER DO THIS...

If the water doesn't flow through the filter, the easiest fix I know is to use a turkey baster (if it has an oval end it helps), and use it to suck air (and water) up through the filter through the mesh covered openings around the center hole in the top of the filter. Often times you can see air trapped in under the fine mesh around the center hole - even if you don't see air, if you suck the water up through the mesh you will see a large amount of air come up into the baster. I am surprised that they haven't found a way to cure this problem, but this is the easiest fix I know. Anyone is free to claim this idea as their own - I do not own a copyright and I couldn't care less about getting credit for it. I haven't seen anyone else mention doing this, so I thought I would share it. Hope this helps!

Quality of Filters has Gone Down.

When Zero Water owned the company I could get approximately 6 to 7 weeks use of a filter before I had to replace it. Since Culligan has owned the company I am only getting approximately 3 to 4 weeks use from a filter before I have to change it out. Thank you Culligan!!

Filter don’t last more than 2 weeks

I’ve only been using ZeroWater for about two months, and I’m already extremely frustrated with the filters. The filters are lasting only about two weeks, and several days before the filtration reader indicates that they need to be replaced, the water starts tasting metallic and/or fishy. In just two months, I’ve already spent around $200 on filters. At this point, my refrigerator filter and Brita seem to provide better-tasting water and are much more cost-effective. For a product that is marketed as a cost-effective water filtration solution, spending $200 in only two months is extremely disappointing. If the filter design has changed, ZeroWater should be transparent with customers about what changed and why. Otherwise, it feels like customers are simply being forced to replace filters much more frequently without any explanation.

Filters don't last longer than 2 weeks

I have been using Zero Water for a few years. The filters used to last a month a piece. Now they last about 2 weeks, and they make the water taste metallic and/or fishy several days before the filtration reader registers that the filters aren't working. My tap water hasn't gotten worse. The filter design has changed for some mystery reason. If we are trading better filtration for shorter lifespan, then explain that to the customer. Because Zero Water has made no statement on why the filters aren't lasting, it feels like something was changed in the filter design to make them more money. It's scummy and it's frustrating.

New peel-off plastic cover ...

The new plastic peel-off cover on top of the replacement filters is not acceptable: it NEVER peels off cleanly, the little bits left stuck to the filter top are impossible to remove, and if you don't remove all traces of the plastic cover the water leaks around it into the reservoir. PLEASE develop a better cover! The old plastic screw-on covers were re-cyclable -- what's wrong with going back to using them?

There are 2 conflicting answers related to expected gallons of water filtered per unit. One answer was 15-20 gals and another answer was 20-25 gals. Both answers were from approximately one year ago.

What is the material in the filters that use you use to filter? I’ve had other products that my cats were allergic to and I just wanna know what you guys are using to filter.

I’m a long time customer to Zero water filters. Check your records. The last bunch I ordered become airborne with every refill. I have to use a crochet hook to release the air bubbles. Why are they so air bound?

We have been using zero water for a few years now. Recently the filters seem to only be lasting a week at the most, when they use to last a month. Is it because Culligan now owns it now? What have you changed? We're going to go back to bottled water.

I purchased the 12 pack filters from Amazon. As did I purchase tithe pitcher and the 32 cup system. Where I received the pitcher the filter had a plastic cap. Where I purchased new filters they has The cellophane cover on the top that you have to pull off
