What faucet is compatible with this device?
Our systems fit most standard faucets. Pull-out and handheld faucets are not compatible with our systems.
Do I need to use a faucet adapter?
Try fitting the system right out of the box. If it does not fit try one of the 2 enclosed adapters.

Filter Troubleshooting
How long do I preflush after a new filter is installed?
The ExtremeLife filter cartridge should be flushed for 5 minutes before use.
Why does my device not get to 000 TDS?
This device was not designed to reach 0 TDS, it focuses on filtration of Lead, PFOA/PFOS, Chlorine & more, with an estimated filter life of 6 months/400 gallons.
How do I know when to replace the filter?
Your filter life indicator will turn red when it is time to replace your filter cartridge.
How long does my filter last? What is this based on? (2.2 GPD use)

How do I change a filter?
1. When your filter life indicator begins to blink red, it is time to replace your ZRFM-001 filter. 2. Turn face plate counter clockwise until it is removed from the faucet mount system. Remove and dispose of the old filter. 3. Place new filter stem into the faceplate stem hold. Place new filter and face plate into the faucet mount system and turn clockwise until tight and reset the Rested filter life indicator. *It is important to flush each new cartridge for 5 minutes to remove all carbon fines. The fines are not harmful but should be flushed out before using the filter.
How do I reset the filter light?
After new batteries are installed or the filter is changed, push and hold the filter life reset button for approximately 2 seconds, until the green light flashes. The light will change to red at 180 days to remind you that it is now time to change the filter.

Can I run hot water through the filter?
Do not run hot water through the filter. Do not use with water above 100 degrees as this may alter the filter. Use cold water only.
Does the timer have anything to do with the filter operation?
No, it just counts down the time the filter has been installed and warns it might be time to change the filter.

How do I clean my device?
Use damp cloth and mild soap for cleaning. Do not use harsh chemicals, detergents, abrasives, solvents, or cleaning fluids as they can damage the unit.

Is ExtremeLife FM certified?
This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 42 & 53 for specific performance claims a verified and substantiated by test data for the reduction of substances listed on the performance data sheet. The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system as specified in the NSF/ANSI 42 and 53.

What is the ExtremeLife FM Warranty?
Zero Technologies, LLC warrants your ExtremeLife (TM) Faucet Mount Filter (ZFM-400CR/WH) for two years from the date of purchase (ZRFM-001 filter cartridge and system batter are not covered under limited warranty) against defects in materials and workmanship when installed and used in compliance with the installation and operation instructions provided with the product and available at www.zerowater.com.
